RespectAbility USA is a new, national, non-profit organization whose mission is to “reshape the attitudes of American society so that people with disabilities can more fully participate in and contribute to society, and empower people with disabilities to achieve as much of the American dream as their abilities and efforts permit.” As part of their work, RespectAbility uses “strategic communication and public opinion research to understand the hopes, dreams, and challenges of American with Disabilities and then translate that information straight to policymakers in Washington and leaders across America.”
The organization is seeking input on employment and barriers to employment from people with disabilities, their friends and family members, and the professionals who support them. The online survey should take about 15-20 minutes to complete. Participants who complete the survey may be eligible to win $500.
