The Lescer Foundation (in Spanish) supports the traumatic brain injury (TBI) community in Spain, improving the quality of life through comprehensive care, specialized rehabilitation, and covering their basic and social needs from the beginning rehabilitation until their re-entry into the community. The Lescer Foundation programs (in Spanish) include training for people with TBI and their families, raising awareness about TBI, leisure and recreation, and returning to the community. The Foundation’s portal (in Spanish), which brings together information and training related to TBI, allows users to access and share information and knowledge, as well as establish contacts and networks. Through the portal, the Foundation provides general information, rehabilitation resources, and a glossary of terms for those who are new to the TBI community. Finally, the portal has a list of FAQs, a guide for families (in Spanish), and information on quality of life after a TBI (in Spanish) that includes information on assistive technology, accessible homes, transportation accessibility, accessible tourism, and accessible leisure time.
