Our blog post, Let’s talk about eating disorders: Eating Disorders Awareness Week, is popular among our followers who speak Spanish. Also, Eating Disorders Awareness Week is coming up and we wanted to share several resources:
- In the last year, NARIC has added 5 articles on eating disorders and related topics.
- The National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) provides information on eating disorders that includes risk factors, treatments, therapies, and even how to join a study to help researchers learn about eating disorders.
- The National Eating Disorder Association (NEDA) not only provides information and a community of survivors and supporters, they also provide a way to connect to local and national sources of information and support.
- MedlinePlus, a part of the National Library of Medicine, has an article on eating disorders that includes information on living with eating disorders and related issues. The article also includes information on research and resources and information specific for children, teens, and women.
