Sunday, June 22nd 2014 marks the 15th anniversary of the Olmstead decision, the landmark ruling by the U.S. Supreme Court affirming the right of individuals with disabilities to a life within their community. On Friday, June 20th, the Administration for Community Living (ACL) and the U.S. Department of Justice (DoJ) are hosting an online celebration of the Olmstead decision. Guest speakers address a range of issues critical to disability rights, including the impact of integration and implications for the future. The event will stream on HHS Live at 1 p.m. EST.
