The NIDRR-funded RRTC on ENhancing ACTivity and Participation for Persons with Arthritis (ENACT) has released the ninth podcast in the “Active Living with Arthritis” series. This series provides evidence-based information to assist people living with arthritis and other rheumatic conditions stay active. Information is presented in an enjoyable, conversational format with the hope that people living with arthritis will be encouraged to participate and that clinicians will share this valuable resource with their patients.
Dr. Karen Jacobs, an Occupational Therapist and professor in occupational therapy at the University of Boston hosts Podcast 9: “Being a Caregiver: Caring for Someone and Managing Your Arthritis.” She discusses the physical challenges of being a caregiver and managing arthritis in a caregiving setting with Kaitlin Thompson and Amber Steckel, candidates for the Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Boston University.
