The Institute on Rehabilitation Issues (IRI) is sponsored through a competitive grant from the Rehabilitation Services Administration (RSA). The IRI’s objectives include identifying field initiated topics of importance to the public rehabilitation program, discussing said topics, and developing materials which can be utilized by those concerned about staff development in rehabilitation and state vocational rehabilitation agencies (VR). The RSA is currently seeking topics for the 39th IRI. These topics should be relevant to VR professionals ant that will impact the field – not only at the state level, but beyond.
Deputy Commissioner Dr. Edward Anthony invites nominations to support the IRI. Topic nominations are due at close of business (COB) by 5pm Eastern Time on Thursday, November 98th 2012. The nominations may be submitted electronically at http://iriforum.org/topic_submission.aspx.
