NIDRR-funded RRTC, ENhancing ACTivity and Participation for Persons with Arthritis (ENACT) has released the fourth podcast in the “Active Living with Arthritis” series. The series provides evidence-based information to assist people living with arthritis and other rheumatic conditions stay active. This information is presented in an enjoyable, conversational format with the hope that people living with arthritis will find this information useful and that clinicians will share this valuable resource with their patients.
In Podcast 4: “Bumps in the Road Part 1: Finding the Time for Exercise” Boston University Doctor of Physical Therapy student, Sara Crandall, and Sargent faculty member, Dr. Karen Jacobs, discuss subjects for people with arthritis to consider when beginning an exercise program. Specifically, Podcast 4 addresses the issues “bumps” with finding the time and getting started with an exercise program when living with arthritis.
Each month, ENACT releases a new Active Living with Arthritis Podcast. Future podcasts include:

- The Relationship between Inflammation, Arthritis, and Nutrition
- Resources for Employed People with Arthritis and Other Rheumatic Conditions
- When and How to Tell People at Work about your Arthritis or Other Rheumatic Conditions
