NY Times: Brain Injury and Couples

Today’s New York Times features an article on how brain injury affects couples, both the injured person and their partner. The article includes input and research from Dr. Jeffery Kreutzer and his team at the Virginia Commonwealth Model Traumatic Brain Injury System. The VCU team focuses part of their research on the role families play in rehabilitation from brain injury including marriage and family interventions.

We highly recommend the video series from Brain Line featuring Dr. Kreutzer and Dr. Taryn Tjeskal on what happens to families who experience brain injury. This video and more are available free to download along with an excellent collection of other resources.
