Today is Kathy Martinez’ first day as Assistant Secretary of Labor for the Office of Disability Employment Policy! Ms. Martinez has a long and distinguished career in disability policy research. She comes to the Dept of Labor from the World Institute on Disability where she was a member of three NIDRR projects. She also served on the National Council on Disability.
We had the pleasure of working with Ms. Martinez as part of NIDRR’s Knowledge Dissemination and Utilization working group (now the NIDRR KT Committee). She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to any table. We sincerely look forward to her tenure at ODEP!
