Twitter is a great source of information. We feed ours with blog updates, event announcements, opportunities to participate in research, and other items we hope you and other readers will find interesting and helpful to their daily lives. We follow about 130 Twitter-ers who tweet about disability and rehabilitation and the many and varied topics that fall in between.
Here are a few we’ve found very “meaty”:
Brainline.org: Posts links to great articles, videos, and more. Brainline also answers questions from followers.
Vision Aware: Self-help for vision loss. Posts great articles on a wide range of vision topics. Very helpful staff, too!
Disabilityinfo.gov: If you’re not signed up for their weekly updates, do it now. In the meantime, their twitter feed will keep you very busy!
Reeve Foundation: A very active twitter feed. Opps to participate, videos and articles, events, and much more.
AAPD: Their tweets are a good source for legislative info (including the Sotomayor hearings). We also follow Andrew Imparato’s tweets for even more policy goodies.
These are just a few of the organizations and individuals we follow on Twitter. To see our profile and who we follow (and who follows us), go to http://www.twitter.com/naricinfo.
