Nominate Effective State VR Practices

Do you know of a practice or program at a state Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) project? The Rehabilitation Research and Training Center on Vocational Rehabilitation Research is conducting case studies and looking for candidates!

The Institute for Community Inclusion (ICI) at the University of Massachussets (UMass) Boston and its partner InfoUse are conducting case study research on effective state Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) agency practices for:

  • Managing outreach, service access, and case flow to serve individuals with the most significant disabilities (MSD) on a priority basis,
  • Improving employment outcomes for individuals with mental illness (MI), and
  • Improving employment outcomes for individuals with developmental disabilities (DD).

Practices refer to VR program practices, policies and procedures. Case studies on improving employment outcomes intend to study “what works” regardless of the model or approach utilized in achieving employment outcomes.
